The mission of the Houston Young Artist's Concert (HYAC) is to showcase highly talented young classical musicians age 4 to 18 in a variety of venues throughout the city with the hope of fostering a greater appreciation for classical music in the Houston area.
Congratulations to all of the performers at the 7 outreach concerts in June. At least 3500 people were in the audience at the 2 Miller outdoor Theatre concerts. Everyone played so beautifully and behaved so professionally. The other performance venues were enthusiastically received.
